Our company was founded in 2012 so it still has a short history.
In 2019, the corporate name of our company changed from Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Mexico S.A. (NPM) to Nippon Steel Pipe México S.A. de C.V to have a new start in Mexico as a welded steel pipe manufacturer in charge of Nippon Steel Group's electric resistance welded pipe business in Mexico.
Our company is mainly engaged in the production and sale of steel pipe materials for automobile and motorcycle parts.
Nippon Steel, which leads our parent company Nippon Steel Pipe and the Nippon Steel Group, is a company that has a long history in the production and sale of welded steel pipe, and generates world-wide sales records in welded steel pipes for auto and motorcycle parts.
Our company operates in Mexico under the knowledge inherited by both companies in the manufacture of high quality steel tubes.
Mexico is a country that, in addition to having great growth potential, has the advantage of being adjacent to large markets such as North America, South America and Europe, for which greater growth can be expected. Appreciating the importance of this environment, we strive every day for further growth and development.
Likewise, to raise the confidence of our shareholders, we prioritize safety as much as possible, while actively promoting rigorous compliance, the improvement of internal control systems and environmental conservation initiatives.
